In recognition of Ireland’s outstanding coordination efforts during Space Week, the World Space Week Association have awarded the National Outreach Coordinator an Impact Award.
As part of the award, a mentorship initiative has been offered by GenSpace for one Irish “astropreneur”. GenSpace is an initiative supporting space-focused entrepreneurship and education.
🔹 Objective
Identify one standout individual in your country who is already working on a space-related initiative (startup, data project, educational program, etc.) and could benefit from targeted global mentorship to grow their work.
🔹 Who Should Apply
● Individuals who:
○ Have launched a space-related project or business (can be early-stage)
○ Are using space technologies, data, or education in their work
○ Need mentorship to scale or refine their initiative
○ Are passionate about impact in their community or country
○ Either participated in WSW or commit to do so in 2025

Final Deliverables (Required from the Selected Winner)
By applying, all applicants acknowledge that if selected, they commit to:
1. Join the full mentorship program provided by GenSpace.
2. Organize one World Space Week 2025 event in their country that:
○ Showcases or applies what they learned during the mentorship
○ Can be a talk, workshop, small meetup, online session, or other format
3. Submit a 1-minute video (in English or in their local language) about their mentorship
experience, including:
○ Overview of their project
○ Key takeaways from the mentorship
○ How the mentorship influenced their work
4. Submit a short written reflection (max 1 page) covering:
○ Their mentorship experience
○ Progress made on their initiative
○ Details of the WSW event they are going to organize
