EPIC Space Camp: The Irish in Space

Date:Sunday October 6 2019

Time:14:00 - 15:30

Location:EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, CHQ, Custom House Quay, Dublin 1, Dublin, Co Dublin

This Space Week, join us for our first EPIC Space Camp!

EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum has shown us that the Irish have travelled everywhere, but what would an Irish colony be like in space? Follow in the moonwalk of Irish space experts like Niamh Shaw and Jocelyn Bell Burnell in this fun and messy arts and crafts workshop to find out what it’d be like to live on another planet. Exploring everything from space travel to gravity, food and beyond, you’ll do a range of activities – from designing your own space rocket, to planning your colony camp! At the end of the workshop, you’ll even get your very own EPIC Space Camp certificate, readying you for exploring the galaxy – and beyond!

Special offer: Want to see EPIC Museum while you’re here? Kids get free entry to the museum with this ticket, and accompanying adults get 20% discount off their ticket. Just show your Eventbrite ticket at the ticket desk.
