Time:18:00 - 23:59

Location:National College of Ireland, Mayor Street Lower, IFSC, Dublin 1

The Largest Annual Global Hackathon in the world returns to Dublin and is ready to welcome everyone who wants to practice collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking using NASA’s open data to build innovative solutions to challenges we face on Earth and in space.

All ages, skill levels, and professional backgrounds are welcome.
Teams with the most diverse set of skills are usually the most successful and we would love to see families and school teams register, develop projects and share ideas.

When you participate in the NASA International Space Apps Challenge, you join a global community that embraces collaboration across borders, sectors, and cultures. The Space Apps community shares a desire to learn and an interest in exploring our planet and universe through the creative use of science and technology.

Participants form teams with up to six members, and over the course of the event, each team develops a project to address a challenge of their choice: https://www.spaceappschallenge.org/2023/challenges/

At the end of the event, a Local Community Choice Award will be assigned, and a local jury will select the best project submissions to progress to a global screening stage where they will be in with a chance to win one of 10 Global Awards and fly to NASA Headquarters for the Award Ceremony.

The Space Apps Challenge experience provides participants with the opportunity to explore open data, learn new skills, network with like-minded individuals around the world, and work to solve real-world problems on Earth and space.

At Space Apps, there’s always space for one more!
