Stars eight times more massive than our Sun end their lives in dramatic supernova explosions but before dying, monster stars have tumultuous lives when they blow winds, suffer giant eruptions, and interact with companion stars.

In his talk, Prof. Jose Groh will give an overview on the fast lives and evolution of the most massive stars in the Universe. He will also discuss the dramatic deaths of these monster stars and how they act as cosmic engines of the Universe.
