Space Week – Second Level Workshops

Join performance astronomer, Frances McCarthy, from CIT Blackrock Castle Observatory for a lecture and Q&A on the topic of clouds and climate change. How does cloud cover impact a warming planet? Can we learn anything about climate change on our own planet by observing the extreme greenhouse effect on Venus?

Audience: Junior Cycle Students
Junior Cycle Science Learning Outcomes: Earth and Space 3 and Earth and Space 7
Times: Available for 45 minutes of your choice in Slot 1(Between 9 am and 10.30 am) or Slot 2 (Between 10.30 am and 12 pm).
Cost: Free, but pre-booking is essential.
