Kids will love our series of educational and fun-filled weekends, celebrating all things Space week 2018 on Saturday Oct 13th. We’re calling it STEM 2.0.
INSPIRED BY SPACE: Discover the wonders of the night sky too with StarDome, a portable planetarium on the road with Blackrock Castle Observatory. AND Irish engineer, scientist, performer and one of Ireland’s leading space explorers, Dr. Niamh Shaw will be in-store as part of Space week with crew mate Stargazer Lottie, to tell kids all about the story of space and encourage them to dream big!
Linked Space Week resources will assist teachers to develop a cross-curricular approach to teaching Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) using Space as a theme
Throughout the weekends there will be face painting, arts and crafts and much more, so kids of all ages are guaranteed to be entertained.
